Boy Scouting Ministry

Be a part of our Scouting Ministry!

The Boy Scouts of America is divided into three major programs:

Cub Scouting for boys from 1st-5th grade (ages 7 to 11).  These scouts are divided into age groups known by the following names: Tiger Cubs, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos.

Boy Scouting for boys in middle and high school (ages 11 to 18).  As a scout, boys will learn responsibilty through activities like camping, aquatics and hiking.  Through these activities help the boys learn many other valuable skills as well as a sense of brotherhood and service.

The Venturing Program is for both males and females in high school and college (ages 14 to 21).  This programs allows participants to be engaged in activities similar to those used in the Boys and Girls scouting programs, but at a more advanced level.  All of these activities focus on training participants to be mature and responsible young adults.

Den meetings are on Monday night at 7:00pm here at Calvary.  A den is a group of six to eight boys, within the pack.  The boys in a den are usually all at the same grade level.  The den structure allows boys to build relationships with leaders and other boys provides opportunities for activities that would be difficult with a large group.

Pack Meetings are on the third Monday of each month!
