Risk Taking Mission and Service

Calvary has worked very hard over the last few years to become a church known for it's service to the community, nation and the world.

On a weekly basis, we answer the need in our community through our Food Pantry. The Pantry is open from 2 - 5pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Boxes will NOT be given out at any other time. All you need to qualify is a valid ID. Check out the Pantry page!

Each year we commission a variety of mission teams to be God's hands and feet in this world. Our mission teams are comprised of individuals aged 8 to 80. These teams have traveled to:

Brazil
Carroll, Ohio and Purdue University for YOUTH 2011
Rocky Mount, Virginia
Sneedville, Tennessee
Waynesboro, Virginia

For Summer 2012, we are planning the following trips:

Brazil for all ages - early June
BamaNola for High School Youth - June 27-July 7
Destination Unknown for Middle School Youth - July 15-July 21
Nebraska for all ages - Early August
