Our Church Staff

Jan Failes is our Director of Spiritual Formation. She is Married to Rev. B. and they have one son, Britt.

 

 Jan is planning to travel to Africa this summer as coordinator of  "Voices of Youth."  This mission choir of the Virginia United Methodist will spend 13 days in Zimbabwe, Mosembque, and South Africa. She is currently leading "Companions in Christ."

 

Jan is a native Canadian, and received her US citizenship at Monticello on July 4, 2002

 

 Her favorite movie is "Return to Me"

 

 Her favorite Bible verse is Ruth 1:16. "But Ruth said, "Do not press me to leave you or to turn back from following you! Where you go, I will go; Where you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God."

Susan Dameron is our Administrative Assistant. She is married to Tim and they have three children, Seth, Carmen and Christi.

 

 Susan is the pianist for our 11:00am worship service.

 

 Susan is the voice you will hear on our answering machine and she will greet you when you answer  the phone.

 

Her favorite movie is "Miracle on 34th Street."

 

She is currently reading "The Five People You Meet In Heaven." and "The Present Future."

Becky Johnson is our Church Bookkeeper. She is married to Ronnie and they have two daughters, Amy and Ashley.

 

 Becky is pictured here at the clothes closet in Sneedville Tennessee, where our church's missionary is stationed. Becky and Ronnie went on a recent mission trip to help with the "Jubilee Project"

Janine Heitzenrater is our church Nursery coordinator. she is inthe infant nursery each week from 8:15am - 12:15pm. she is also avaiable on special evenings. She also selects and helps with our other nurseries. Here she is pictured with Noah's Ark in the nursery.

Janine is married to Richard and they have two daughters, Alice and Sara.
