Growing as Disciples Together
11:00AM SundayOur 11:00am worship is accessible traditional, but those are church terms.
What this means is that we are traditional United Methodist, we sing hymns, read scripture, and share in the sacraments of Lord's
Supper and Baptism. However we are also not regimented. We have a house band that leads us in bluegrass Sundays, "Harmony Hill." We do lots of specail Sundays like youth and children's days. We worship is creative ways involving children, youth and adults. So our service is not cold, but warm and inviting, just in traditional forms.![]() Our choir at 11:00 is directed by Celeste Robb. they sing a selection of music from Gaither to gospel to sacred.
In all of our services there is prayer, a time for sharing of joys and concerns, singing, scripture, proclaiming the Good News, and a chance to respond to that Good News. At this service we do this in a traditional welcoming way. Everyone is invited to participate in any and all of our worship services. You do not have to be a member or a United Methodist to participate in our service or to receive the Lord's Supper. For more information, please e-mail Revwbfj@aol.com |
